What should I do if the "MIUI" logo hangs on the screen for more than 10 hours during the update?

The logo hangs on the screen for more than 10 hours. The Internet is full of descriptions when the update was frozen at the stage of "changing progress numbers in percent", but did not find descriptions when the phone was frozen at the MIUI logo stage.

There is enough free space on the phone (tens of gigabytes), the phone is charging.
The bootloader is not unlocked (who knew what would be required if there were no plans to install custom firmware).
Another detail - the download of a new update took several hours instead of several minutes, as usual.
Phone Mi Note 10 lite, MIUI 12. I don't know other details.

UPD: how safe is it to take out the sim card to use the backup phone, and give it time to "hanging out"?
UPD2: This problem is called "Xiaomi Bootloop", solved by long pressing the power button, and releasing after the "mi" logo appears.

If under warranty, return to seller.
If the warranty is over, take it to the service.
