How does the list of recent apps work in android?
Good afternoon. I can't understand the behavior in android. When you start the program from the shortcut, the activity specified in the manifest is launched. But when launched through the list of recent applications, which appears by long pressing on home or, in the case of a tablet, on the corresponding button, the application opens on the activity on which it was minimized, bypassing the entire launch process.

This is not a very healthy situation, you either have a custom launcher or the shortcut was created by the program itself.
So that the application does not bypass the entire process, exit the application with the back button.
And if you exit by clicking on home and then restore from recent ones, then the place from which you left opens
This is fine. The activity just wasn't destroyed and it's being restored instead of starting from the beginning. Activity life cycle
