What should I choose for my purposes, NAS (Samba) or Nextcoud?

The other day I assembled a Mini-itx system unit:
J3455m
8gb DDR3
SSD for a 120Gb
2TB HDD system (In the future I plan to buy another one for RAID)
All this works on Linux Mint
I assembled it to play around with Linux, something like HTPC, in the hope of hanging the following tasks on it
1. KODI 4k video (hardware holds hardware)
2. Stream client for games on a TV set, using the resources of an older brother (PC)
3. File cleaning
About file cleaning and a question. Initially, I wanted to install Nextcloud, make a home cloud (wow, home cloud, cool), but then I thought about it. My goals are as follows:
There will be 3-6 users, including me (Android, iOS, Win). Main and only tasks
1. Draining data to my mini-server (manually or using some application)
2. Consuming content from this server (video, music)
3. The ability to sometimes send a link to a file to one of the users
4. Setting access rights to certain folders certain users
Duc, here. For my purposes, I need a cloud in the form of nextcloud, or can I limit myself to something like OMV / FREEnas, raised into a virtual machine, or just stupid samba?
ps Please tell me some software for synchronizing Android/iOS/Win folders to my mini server

Nextcloud.
In general, no one bothers to combine access to files both through a browser, i.e. cloud, and through Samba.

If I understand you correctly, then the network is full of NAS distributions on Linux. I myself recently "felt" for XigmaNAS (ex. NAS4Free), for "file cleaning" the most in my opinion. And so, in fact, you can still see distributions, for example, FreeNAS, OpenMediaVault, etc. Everyone mainly manages and configures through the web console, it won’t take much time to figure out what’s what.

Android/iOS/Win folder synchronization software

I recommend Syncthing - I really like it.
I put together a similar solution, only on a j4205 stump, MX Linux :)
