What should be the separator for CSV to work in MS Excel?

On the site, I will upload data from the database into one CSV file, but managers work with MS Excel and there the CSV file should open correctly with a breakdown into columns. Which delimiter is best suited to have the least problems?

Microsoft Excel uses when opening csv files the delimiter specified in the regional settings of the operating system: look for "list separator".
In Russian regional standards, the default is ;
Accordingly, a csv file with columns separated by ; is interpreted by Excel correctly and will open conveniently for your managers (unless, of course, you or your OS installers have set something different in the regional standards at this point)

In general, anyone, you just need to open it correctly
in MS there is a separate menu item something like data import, where the file encoding and delimiter are already selected, etc., and then it is already imported normally
