What should be the name of the zip file for autoinstallation from recovery?

Hello.
There is a task - to automate the application of patches through recovery on Samsung devices. Philz was chosen as a recovery (as the first ready-made version that came across).
The idea is that we push a file with a patch to the device, reboot into recovery, the recovery itself applies the patch and reboots the device back.
I'm not really an expert in custom firmware / recovery, etc., but for some reason it seemed to me that for auto-installation, the file should be called update.zip and be in / sdcard /. But the recovery does not react in any way to the presence of this file.
How to solve the problem?

Isn't it necessary to write the script to /cache/recovery/ in the openrecoveryscript format?
I have never used the installation and, in general, I dealt with Pilz a couple of times, but after briefly looking at the description of this assembly, the reference goes to the same OpenRecoveryScript
Absolutely not
