What should be the formula for a calculated date field?

People, plz tell me what the formula should be:
There is a field "end date" type "Date and time". I create a calculated field "Status" (values: active; archived). What should be the formula, with the condition - if the current date is greater than the “completion date”, then the value is “archived”, otherwise “active”?
