Designed and designed websites. Not so long ago I did the design of an application for android. I'm thinking of jumping into application development, maybe I liked it more. Who is familiar with the market in terms of design? Give advice: is it worth it?

It is much easier for a designer, and in many ways more difficult, it makes no sense to change the needle for soap, but it is better to do what you like.
Design - usually done faster, but if the design is bad, it shows right away.
Coding is usually more writing, but bad code is only visible to a specialist.

We have a young team of mobile developers made up of young students. (2 android, 1 ios, 1 backend)
And here are our global problems:
it is difficult to competently design and implement non-trivial things, we have to experiment and redo a lot, and this is time.
The market is steep and growing, but it is often difficult to explain to the customer that it costs not 20 or 30k.

For my taste, mobile applications (or adaptive website design for smartphones) are both more complicated and more interesting. So hold on.
