What should an Information Security Specialist know?

Shalom, Toaster!
I am a novice programmer who wants to take the path of a "white hacker".
Nowhere in Runet, (and there is not much information in foreign countries), I did not see what kind of skills cyber security should have in order to become a specialist in its field.
I want to clarify that I already have fundamental knowledge, but I want to delve into the topic.

A very strange question from a person with fundamental knowledge.
Are you confusing fundamental knowledge with basic knowledge?
You need to know a lot.
Computer architecture and software
Protocols and standards
Several programming languages used in the area you want to break Have
a good understanding of the device of the operating system In
general, a good specialist should be able to independently use the search. Without this skill, one cannot become good.

This is a whole faculty, so you can’t answer this question with one answer, you have to do it. Information security is a very complex area, think 10 times before delving into it, and is it worth it. Fundamental knowledge is also very complex. Because besides computers, there are other means of communication, such as cellular or mobile operators. There is an osi model at each stage of which hackers can find vulnerabilities. The first thing you need to learn is the OSI networking model! This is the foundation. You need to know low-level programming languages, incl.

Alexander look towards CISSP certification.
I gave it and I can say that it basically mentions everything that an IB specialist should know.
It is possible not to take the CISSP exam, but simply read the Guidelines for it and also pass several test exams.

Next, see what to study in Universities on this topic of Information Security.
I was on a master's program in information security and I can say that there is about the same as in CISSP, but with a different bias.
Here's an example Master's in Information Security, 2 years:
https://www.ltu.se/edu/program/FMISA/FMISA-Informa...
Read her Syllabis, The best course on this program is: Critical Infrastructure Protection
And look at what literature you need to read on this course.
And so on) Good luck!
