What's wrong with Open Server?
In general, I needed to make up a site, and on the example of a ready-made one. Well, I copied the files from that site, pasted them into a folder inside the domains folder, made a domain in the settings, made minor changes - everything is as usual. However, when I try to open it in a browser to check if it works, it opens the site whose files I borrowed (it lies in the same domains folder). First time I've encountered this.
If anything, I have a tick on "make changes in the hosts file", without for some reason not a single site is turned on at all.

Have a look at the hots file. Look at the domains tab in OpenServer. It's banal - there may not be enough write permissions.
For example, if the site is called somedomain.test, then create a directory with the same domain in domains.
Well, or better, try some ready-made Vagrant-box.
Perhaps there are not enough rights to overwrite the hosts file, run OpenServer as Administrator.
Also check the .htaccess file in the root of the project, it may have redirect settings
Change folder domain to .dev if you have 'cms' change domain to .dev in sql. If you have 2 letters like .us .io then change to .dv (serialization)
But first, rename only the domain folder. if a redirect to the original works, it means to edit the database.
upd. For sql wordpress, there is a script. database search and replace
