What's wrong with fancontrol?

I'm tired of the noise from the system unit, even when idle. There is an exotic motherboard "asrock a320m-hdv" for which there are no Linux drivers ( https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A320M-HDV/index.asp#... ), and therefore began to look for manual ways to configure the work coolers - everyone writes about fancontrol.
Having spent several hours on love with him, I find the basic jambs in him. For example, the very beginning of the configuration - sudo pwmconfig - the utility says that it will disable coolers:

Warning!!! This program will stop your fans, one at a time,
for approximately 5 seconds each!!!
This may cause your processor temperature to rise!!!
If you do not want to do this hit control-C now!!!
Hit return to continue:

I deliberately opened the system unit and put it next to it - not a single cooler stops during the test.
Further, from the manual, about manual control of coolers:
We look at the available devices:
$ ls /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/device/ | grep pwm

It doesn't display anything for me. Accordingly, manual control of coolers does not work either.
Has anyone experienced this?
