What's wrong with CNAME?

There is a site uptrastmail.ru
from it through CNAME I redirect the user to the site fortune-tour.ru dns
record: uptrastmail.ru CNAME fortune-tour.ru (that's right)
redirects at all not to understand where. the geo zone seems to be related to the fortune-tour.ru site Kaluga .. but apparently it shows the wrong address.
How to write correctly? The redirect must be from the main domain. Or will it not work?

@AtaZ

CNAME, firstly, does not change the browser string, and secondly, if you want to redirect from uptrastmail.ru to fortune-tour.ru, then you should write it the other way around, this time, both names should be directed to the same hosting (A record ).
You need to use redirects to redirect.
CNAME is used for the convenience of the user, so that he drives in a convenient name in the browser, or when you want to change the domain name, but not change the hosting, for example.
