I am updating the asterisk for the project from FreePBX/Aster1.8 to FreePBX/Aster13.
In version 12 of the asterisk, a REST apish was added through which you can do a bunch of cool things and ami / agi is no longer needed.
Therefore, it is better to use phpari for example :)
