What's going on with the Google Maps API geocode() for Crimea?
My web application uses the Google Maps API version 3. Among others, the geocodeAddress() and reverseGeocode() functions are used.
They work great for any coordinates and addresses, but until you "stop" in the Crimea.
Moscow and the whole world - works:
Simferopol and the whole Crimea - does not work. Zero Results:
But if you enter the same coordinates directly into Google Maps, it works:
The same goes for addresses. If you enter "Simferopol", order. And if some address in Simferopol - figurines. This only applies to the map built into my project, everything is ok on Google Maps itself.
Miracles and only...
Gentlemen site builders, who have Google Maps built-in, please take a look at your place. Is it the same or am I having a glitch?

Judging by the fact that the request to the Google DistanceMatrix produces
"destination_addresses" : [ "45.8951698,34.1592261" ]
, they have sanctions for Crimea, turned off reverse geocoding and something else. Didn't find what you were looking for?
