What RS232 -> Ethernet console servers do you use?
Colleagues, good day!
Tell me, please, what console servers do you use to set up network equipment. I came across the manufacturer MOXA, but its cost is equivalent to a cast-iron bridge :)
Prerequisites:
1. Access to the console server via telnet / ssh
2. The number of "holes" is at least 6
3. Not necessarily - the presence of a web interface

There is a software server for linux - ser2net. Quite popular, the ser2net package is in the repository. e.g. Ubuntu, openwrt. I have used it myself and recommend it.
Of the equipment, a usb hub, usb-com adapters, and, if you want something like a raspberry pi, are useful, although you can use a regular PC.
"Crutches and Sticks" INC. =)
Take any PC, buy usb-hub + lots of usb-to-RS232. If desired, even twist it all together with blue electrical tape. You get a harsh, but very cheap option.
If it weren't for the "at least 6" condition, then one could look at some motherboards with 4 soldered ports.
