For Android development, this is definitely developer.android.com/index.html + a forum where there are a lot of people on the topic

If on iOS, then in addition to the office. site and books I can advise http://www.raywenderlich.com for development. There are even articles in Russian there.

As an iOS developer, I'm happy to share some resources.
From the news, these:
And again.
And two.
Of the sites with tutorials, I would single out:
Ray, of course.
It's also useful here.
Lots of goodies here:
Controls, and more, and more...
Gorgeous statistics.

I always also thought that when you write games, for example, in C ++, you will not find anything more important than a site on the topic of C ++, if you write for android, then you visit developer.android.com. But game development is not only a deep study of the OS on which the application is based, or the language in which it will be written. It is necessary to read what is going on in the world in general - what games have been sensational lately, what gadgets and how they have succeeded, what is interesting to the audience of a certain age category. My favorite resources:
1. Habr.
2. GameDev.Ru
3. Youtube.com with an eternal search for videos on queries related to new games, interesting projects.
The rest can be found in Google with a minimum of effort.
