What resources are available for software protection?

Good afternoon. There was a sharp need to study the issue of protecting a Python program I wrote for future commercial implementation, please help with the search for some suitable resources / books about this. The Internet is teeming with vague terms and articles about nothing, there are almost no intelligible specifics, and the question is quite interesting (IMHO). Please tell me the resources where you can find such information.

Cython - you can convert everything to C, then decompilation immediately becomes too expensive
