What resolution photo do you upload to the site?

I took photos for the site, they weigh 6mb each - a bit too much, what is the optimal resolution to choose for use on the site?

Usually enough 800x600 ~ 150kb

I always fill in 2 copies (1280x800, 800x600). If something is missing, then I do, for example,<img src="1280x800.png" width="800" height="600">
