What RAID to choose to achieve safety close to 100%?
It is necessary to select RAID for the home to achieve close to 100% data integrity. I care more about reliability than speed. Budget around 50k.
So far, there is an option to use RAID6 or RAIDZ2 on this server with 4 x 3 TB WD Red. Maybe there are better options?

RAID is not about data safety. It is an accessibility technology.
Make a random rm and that's it, sailed.
On 4 disks, minimal data safety:
a couple in the mirror as insurance for runtime data
somewhere nearby a disk for backups
somewhere far away another disk for backups
There is one truth about which for some reason no one knows a raid is not a means to increase security, it is a means to increase data availability.
For safety, you need to keep three copies in different places, that is, a bunch of backups.
