Project management
lamer350, 2015-04-29 00:42:29

What project manager are you using?

Interested in especially convenient for solo freelancers. Elementary functionality by type:
project -> tasks -> comments and reminders with deadline setting.
Maybe something like an application on mac (ideally, of course, for ios) or a website.
I liked the simplicity of ctrlmanager, but it's paid... I'm still not sure that I'm ready to use it, but they already wanted money from me. Therefore, I would like something free or at least with a test for a month (full functionality).

For myself, I use a simple
Evernote bundle - for documentation, reports, preparation for
Wunderlist meetings - tasks, reminders
Google docs - for joint discussion of reports and other docks
trello.com - a simple task manager for a team that has never used taxi managers) ))
Everything works with Mac, everything is free and easy to start using.

Everything depends on the goal.
If you want to try to put your responsibility on the tool and get a magical thing that will do everything for you ... then you can choose what the comrades above recommend. (sorry, I don’t want to offend anyone, I’m just sharing my experience)
If you just want to work efficiently and efficiently, then you need to look not in the direction of the thing that will save you. And in the direction of the method of managing cases - tasks.
For example, you can even work in the mail using Google Inbox.
There after all there are all opportunities of management of affairs.
Try to equate 1 letter to 1 or a group of tasks and you will succeed.
Make yourself reminders. Move tasks to the desired date.
Efficiency is not in the tool, but in the reasonableness of actions and approach.

Bitrix24 also tried (last year), it did not grow together. It seemed to me not convenient functionality (as for one person).

We are still sitting on Bitrix 24, but we are already planning a transition to something else. While testing Evernote.
