What program to use to monitor servers on the local network?

You need a program that monitors the availability of servers on the local network and, in the event of a ping failure, sends a message via Jabber or mail.
What do you advise?

Under what OS? If under Linux, then I will answer as standard - Zabbix. Learns quickly, works reliably, email jabber notifications out of the box. It may be redundant for a naked ping, but there is a margin for the growth of Wishlist in the future.

I am interested in the program:
- under Windows
- preferably without installation
- having launch keys
- free
- small volume
I think the ideal option would be to roll the bat file script.
