What program to use for video editing on MacOS?

Good evening.
I shot a video on an iPhone and I want to edit it (make a single file from several fragments, add music, captions, etc.)
A computer running Mac OS
has already rummaged through the internet, but could not find a normal answer to my question.
Advise what program to use under MacOS for video editing?

1) Look towards Final Cut Pro . We are quite satisfied with its convenience and speed of rendering.
2) You can also consider the regular Apple iMovie program for Mac OS X. It is the same as for the iPhone, but with more features.
Both solve the tasks you have compared.
