What program / service to use to create presentations?

As far as I've been hearing lately, PowerPoint for creating presentations in a professional environment is about the same level as Paint compared to Illustrator and Photoshop (although it's possible that just such an impression has been created)
And what are more adequate and modern analogues?

Even if PP is a good option, what other analogues are there for presentations?
In my head, from the plus or minus of a familiar ear - only Canva. How is she in action?

On freelance exchanges, I periodically see orders where you need to change something (like a phone number) in presentations made on Canva. After all, she unloads the result in PDFs or even jeeps, right?
Instead of PowerPoint, I would go to Google presentations. Although the ready-made templates there are very concise and template (tautology)), but it is precisely to collect everything, it is convenient to keep it up to date IMHO. Yandex, it seems, also has a similar service ...
And Kanva is for one-time presentations, which will definitely not be needed in the future. There is also Crello, also similar.

PowerPoint if you need to make a quick presentation, especially within a company. No need to reinvent the wheel)
Alternatives are usually sought by those companies where they do not want to pay for an MS Office license.
And so no one forbids using any solution to create presentations, from WordPad and Paint to Adobe Illustrator or 3ds max.

I can also advise you to use "Google Presentations" for simple presentations, in principle, the main advantage is that there is synchronization with gmail.
