What program is most suitable for writing complex structured text with listings?

Hello!
As I study programming, I write in LibreOffice something like a synopsis of the material being studied (Java, general principles of programming, Linux). As a result, we have already got about 250 abstract pages for Java. From time to time there are problems with formatting, styles.
Since the volume of information will grow, please tell me what can be used to edit complex structured documents with styles, tables, images, cross-references, etc. Also, in addition to the abstract on Java, there are abstracts in other areas, it would be nice to have one type of design for all such documents.

LaTeX will be just right, although not everyone likes it. Text editor of your choice. I designed the book in such a way, there was a structured text, pictures with captions, notes. I can say that it is very convenient for large amounts of information. The stylization of all this is obtained in one place, you can safely take it out into a separate file and import it into all your documents, then everything is rendered to pdf by itself.
