What program do you use to create 3d models?

I want to start learning 3D modeling, just for myself. I'm thinking of modeling various techniques from the world of fantasy. But the question is, what is the best program to choose for this, can anyone advise?

Use products from Autodesk. Search for "Autodesk Education Community". Register on the official website of the company. In the educational community, you can choose absolutely any program for 3D modeling. What I personally have:
Autocad 2016 - modeling drawings and homogeneous parts, for example, you can simulate a knife in it.
3D Max is, perhaps, the main program for 3D modeling of objects of any complexity and is much more functional than Blender^. +In 3D Max, you can install the Vray module, which allows you to make cool pictures. Here is my first job:
3. Autodesk Inventor - allows you to model different parts of the mechanism and assemble it, and then you can check it in action and analyze it, for example, for areas with the application of force. Well, it's more professionals need.
In general, the flag is in your hands.
Ps
If you are going to make characters or animate them, use Daz Studio and Autodesk Musion Builder respectively. Both are absolutely free. And, if you want to blind or edit something, then use the ZBrash program. Good luck!

Blender. Free, lightweight, very functional.
