What processor is better to choose for the server?

I have a question regarding these two wonderful pebbles.
xeon e5-2660 v2 and xeon e5-2650 v2.
Which is better to choose?
What do you advise ?
What is the best thing to look at?
For the price, you can assemble a good server 1n or 2 medium ones, will there be a difference?

It depends on the task, if it parallels well, then 2660, if not very then 2650, they are almost identical in terms of overall performance, the difference will show only on specific tasks.

If you drive virtual machines, then the one with more cores. If under the general "file dump", then the one that is cheaper. But in my opinion, two mediocre servers are better than one more powerful, especially since the processors differ in performance by only 5-10 percent.
