What processes happen in Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop when I turn off the laptop with a long press on the Power button? What does it threaten?

Periodically, the graphical shell hangs tightly.

I don’t know how to cure it :( I turn it

off by long pressing the Power on the laptop case.

Then I turn it on and work on.

It seems that nothing disappears :))

But I want to know what happens in Ubuntu when I turn off the laptop in this way?

What is potentially fraught with? And is it risky at all? Maybe this is generally the norm?
