Is there a decent plugin that implements the service desk functionality?

Redmine Theme Changer plugin - any user can choose any of the installed themes at his own discretion.
Redmine Open Links In New Window plugin - all links open in a new tab, which is very convenient.
Redmine Issue Detailed Tabs & Time - Divides comments into All, Comments, Actions, Spent Time.
Project Search Box Plugin - Makes a combo box from the search field and when typing auto-substitution from project titles. It is very fast and convenient to navigate through the menu hierarchy. The search itself also works.
Redmine CKEditor plugin is an indispensable thing, WYSIWYG allows you to format text conveniently, focus on meaning, not syntax.
Redmine Apijs plugin - images and videos in a modal window. The most convenient thing, an analogue of a lightbox, only better.

Try also ChiliProject (this is a separate development branch of Redmine). It's a little nicer to use.

CRM plugin is a free version, we write employee contacts there.
Redmine Light Box plugin - artists often attach pictures. Convenient if there is a preview.

The most useful plugins, in my opinion, are written by hand
