What platform should a novice admin start with?
I work in a helpdesk, so I plan to switch to admins, but I just can’t decide which platform to start with, on the one hand, there is Windows on the servers in the office and, roughly speaking, there is an opportunity to touch it, but at the same time, as far as I know, Linux is very disassembled. Actually, the question itself is to delve into the study of Windows or try Linux, not being able to touch it in real conditions?

It is not clear what is the problem for you to "touch" Linux?
