What phones (resolution) should I get to test my games?

Having scoured the Internet, I found that 16:9 is a popular resolution.
I suppose that the phone should also be chosen for this resolution hd?

IMHO three is enough.
One is an entry-level shit phone 4" 480x800.
The second is a budget 7-8" tablet with a low resolution like 800 x 1280.
The third is a top-end smartphone 5.5" 2560 × 1440.
It's not just about different resolutions, it's about different ppi.

Apple - the last two devices of each line (phone, pad, pod)
Android - 1920 * 1080 phone and tablet + what a small HTC thread (they behave in a very peculiar way).
In general - you can run the game on a PC. in any resolution. Check it out there first. The zoo of droid devices varies too much in resolution. Plus - the android has an irregular bar in the launcher - it can be of different heights.

Depends on how important the quality of your product is to you. In addition to resolution, there is also performance and hardware features.
Ideally, all possible.
In reality, either, as advised above, or outsource tests.
