What OS to choose for a corporate server?
This is just my final qualifying work at the university and it is not complete yet.
It remains to do some design work and raise the server . I just don't know how to expand it.
Windows Server or Linux Ubuntu/Centos?
Can you suggest which is better and explain why. Probably the question "what is better" is very stupid)) but still.
How do you think?
And what services on the server need (better) to deploy, except for dhcp, dns, ftp, mail?

The choice usually happens like this - there are some tasks - we select software for them, based on the software it is clear which OS is needed, and just in general this server can be a hypervisor and inside virtual machines with different OS.
I would install a new Windows Server if the capacity allows.
Here I will join the question Vladimir Korotenko - but what is the task? "Deceive" (as they once said), that is, computerize office X? And what does she do, how much money is she willing to spend, how many people does she have for admin work, bookkeeping, again, on what (the question is not idle - 1C is usually either a separate server or a very fat Kusman of a fairly powerful host)
What does a corporation do?
what budget?
accounting system, software used, who are the counterparties, what park of office equipment?
It all depends on the task, of course. But if the office from the qualifying work is related to the public sector, then it is worth looking in the direction of import substitution. The list is here, for example: https://habr.com/en/post/448070/
And you put Proxmox (based on any linux) or Hyper-V screw or other virtualization host.
because right now it is a very relevant topic. and often everything is virtualized. And inside the virtulka there will be everything you want. though Windows though linukhi. at least all together. depends on capacities.
