What OS is better to put as a "mini" server?

There is a machine ala nettop, with a dead atom and 2 GB of RAM, I plan to reinstall the AXIS on it, because even server 2012 did not live on it for a long time, now it actually restarts stably 1 time per day due to various system glitches (the reason for them is constant problems with electricity , there is no interruption yet), the question is which OS is better to install so that it does not die so quickly? there is one important requirement for the system - it must be able to eat .net framework applications. I thought about linux, but as far as I understood .net does not plow on them and is not planned yet.
already put both xp and 7 ku and server 2012, everything is dying within a month maximum. The disk, according to scandisk.a, was just born.

An operating system has not yet been invented that works stably on faulty, unstable, or turned off hardware.

I see problems with iron. It's not about the OS.
It is necessary to solve the problem of iron, because of which the computer restarts stably.
You are talking about electrical problems - in places where the voltage constantly jumps to 180 to 240, the probability of failure of thin electronics is high. It is possible that the hardware of the nettop has already been damaged to an unstable state (in the first place, usually the conduits do not withstand voltage drops and swell).
There is some option that will help the transformer-rectifier, which can provide a more "smooth voltage", or a smart uninterruptible power supply that will supply 220 through the battery all the time. But again - if the iron is already damaged, then it's probably too late.
You can install the OS, make a full backup of the partition, and in which case you can quickly restore it.

The machine is weak in the role of Server Type - Server 2003
Power is lost - uninterruptible power supply.
What other options are there?
2003 and 2008 servers - that's what servers are for, so that they work for several years without any thoughts about reinstalling.

W2K8 R2 works quite well for me on the atom + holds a software raid. But the load on the server - you know.
Well, plus, as you have rightly noticed, not a single OS can withstand constant hard resets.
