What operating system to choose for an office server?

There is an idea to launch a server at work, which will host a corporate website. Tell me which way to choose the OS? You will also need php, apache, mysql. And how then to connect all this? Thanks in advance!

Install Debian and a bunch of LNMP (LINUX + Nginx + MySQL + PHP), configure port forwarding 80 and external ip on the router. Bind external ip on DNS (write it in A record) to your domain.

Cool question.
But for starters, I would advise debian. It will be nicer to start with. And the distribution itself is very stable with no unnecessary options enabled by default.

Put the one that you know or a familiar guru.
Manuals for setting up these things under Linux, and under fribsd and even under Windows - in bulk on the Internet.

Look, you take Debian7 64bit and install ISP lite4 And forget. Very simple and will work reliably
