What new language to choose for programming olympiad?

I can write in python / c++ (c). I want something fast and rich in built-in algorithms like the second one and easy to write (in particular, for working with strings) like the first one.
PS Java shows itself terribly as a language for olympiads. The code turns out more than in c++. There is no profit from OOP.
