What monochrome sensor for DIY do you recommend?
Hello!
I would like to test a few ideas on shooting and image processing cheaply, so I'm looking for a cheap camera module that can be easily connected to a microcontroller and not a pity to kill. We need monochrome, without the Bayer filter. Everything I see for sale is in color or $100+.
Please advise the described sensor.
UPD: I would like a classic sensor or module, such as 320x240 pixels, but not less than 100x100, so mouse and linear ones from scanners will not work. And without autofocus: a bare chip or manual focus, anyway, most likely I will shoot through the camera obscura.

take it out of the mouse. You didn't say anything about resolution, so any one will do ;)
