What modules can be connected to Arduino?

Good day, I need to implement a master slave connection between two bluetooth modules, there are a lot of instructions on how to do this with HC-05 and HC-06 modules, but for my project they are too large
. Therefore, I had a question, I can implement a master slave connection only on hc modules, or on any other that support this type of transmission (Ali has many different options where the master slave option is marked)
And I have one more small question:
The HC-05 module supports both slave and master modes, in while the HC-06 module is only a slave mode, and it’s not entirely clear to me why use a bunch of HC-05 as a master with an HC-06, which can only be a slave, when you can use one HC-05 as a master with another HC -06 as a slave?
