What meta tags are generally relevant?

Hello. What meta tags are currently relevant to use, why are there so many of them, but at the same time, many write that you can use a couple and that's enough?
There are a huge number of meta tags, but there are not even OG rules:

And here are some typed options for social. networks:

But I'm most interested in the main tags for search engines and the main ones for social. networks.

Meta tags are just

<meta charset="UTF-8" />
<meta name="description" content="Описание" />
<meta name="viewport" content="Нужные значения" />

The rest from the page

Unnecessary garbage in the 21st century.

There is a fresh opinion that the generated Keywords does more harm than good and that it is justified not to use it at all. Since its absence does not give pessimization to the site and the search engine itself determines the keywords. But if they are set, but according to the bot they are not relevant - expect trouble.
title
- required encoding - required
description - if it is reasonably composed, if only how, then it is better not to need
the rest, depending on the need
