What menu did I accidentally open when loading the tablet?
I have a prestigio tablet, not rutted with the android 5.1 system preinstalled on it, there are no new firmware for it, and other users get Ruth on it using programs like super su. Tonight the tablet was discharged and turned off. In the morning they called me and asked me to urgently go to the mail on Yandex. The computer was busy and I took the tablet, and it was discharged. I quickly connected to recharge and held the power button until the charging indicator appeared, then I had to release the power button and press and hold it again until the video signal appeared and the system started loading. I pressed and began to hold the power button and my hand trembled and I pressed the add / turn down button five short times and suddenly a menu appeared on the screen. The menu was like in the terminal or bios, a cramped screen and white text on it. In the upper left corner there were information about the firmware and the device, then a dotted horizontal line, and below it there were several options for booting the system. I really did not have time to look, because. I was in a hurry, but with a general glance I grabbed a few lines in English: booting with Root rights, reinstalling the system using ADM, downloading and installing something else there .. In short, I need to look, I didn’t have time, there was a lot of things on the menu.
This is what happens? And all what?

Turning on while holding the volume button is the standard combination for entering the recovery menu of an android device. In it, you can reset the settings, update the firmware. I did not see the root of access to them. Maybe you misread the menu item. Or maybe it really is that simple. Root access is not given to the user so that he does not harm himself (with root, you can modify system files so that the device stops starting). For example, on a MIUI system, enabling root access is located in one of the standard settings menus. In general, whoever needs it will get the root.
And no, you didn't hack the tablet. Hacking usually means obtaining unauthorized access to data or device functions bypassing standard security systems. Have you used the built-in functionality?
This is the usual technical menu.
How to get into it is usually written in the instructions.
This is the "Recovery" menu - to enter it, they usually hold down Power + volume (+ or -). You haven't hacked anything.
From this menu, you can format the device, install an update from zip, connect adb, fix the rights on the device.
On some devices, the installation of updates is blocked.
This recovery menu is a technical menu for installing updates, restoring and resetting settings, etc. I have never seen an open root there, but nothing prevents the manufacturer from embedding it there - in principle, it is the right place for it. Without the need to go into it, and even more so to do something there - you can very quickly turn your phone / tablet into a "brick".
Just do not climb there unnecessarily, this is the recovery menu, read about this on the internet, there is a sea of information. Otherwise, the next topic will be "everything is gone / stopped turning on"
