What measurements to give fonts?

I rummaged through a lot of articles in what dimensions to typeset fonts for adaptability, but all opinions differ. For now, I continue in PX, but I understand that this is inconvenient, because. h1 headings no longer fit on smaller screens.
Does anyone have an answer or only in PX and make up + screen media?

There is a very good option using calc: it allows you to smoothly change the font size from the minimum to the maximum size of your grid (for example, from 320px to 1100px) - https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/05/fluid-typ.. .

Pixels and only pixels. If something doesn’t fit there, then the designer is to blame, who did not provide for a different font size for the next breakpoint.
