What materials (books, articles) on software architecture should a copywriter study?

Hello. My name is Igor and I am an aspiring technical writer. At the moment I am busy with two projects, one of which is writing descriptions for various programs - from small to large. So, according to the TOR, each text should, if possible, contain information about how this or that application (read, program) works. I would like to know if there are books in nature (if any, which ones) that would cover such questions:
- what do computer programs consist of and how do they work in general terms?
- types and types of software; what is the difference between, say, applications, utilities, services, etc.
Why are programs written using certain languages?
- why do some programs require installation, while others do not; Roughly speaking, what is the difference between desktop and portable applications?
- in detail about cross-platform
- a little about building software, applying patterns
- how to calculate the load on the system and the requirements of the system to the program; Where exactly do these requirements come from?
- other questions that relate to software engineering and, at the same time, do not go into pure programming
Perhaps the question is not entirely correct, but anyway thanks in advance for the answers

If you don't learn how to program at least a little, the phrase "software architecture" in your mouth from time to time will cause (at best) Homeric laughter.
The choice is small: either avoid talking about these topics, or study. And learning does not begin with architecture.

on PC architecture there are:
- Computer architecture, Tanenbaum E.
on software there are:
- Architecture of corporate software applications, Martin Fowler
- Pure architecture. The Art of Software Engineering, Robert Martin
- Ideal Architecture. Leading experts on the beauty of software architectures
