It's simple:
Mint isn't bad until you have to go to the community for help (and it's the first one on my list).
For fun, it's worth trying ROSA - for a surprising reason, they have a Russian-speaking community.
Well, Ubuntu is now the most common, so there should be no problems with application updates.
If there are stability problems, Debian-based distributions are popular, but the application versions there will most likely be outdated
