What limits MFP access to a network folder?
Hello, I connect the MFP to a network folder on ubuntu server 20.04. All computers on the network have access to it, the MFP pings, is available in the network environment on a machine with windows 10. Through the web interface, I established a connection to a shared folder on windows 10. But when I try to connect to a folder on ubuntu, a connection error is written. The server just installed, put samba and added the right folder. Didn't set up any firewalls. Assigned a static ip using netplan. What is blocking access?

protocol version. Some MFPs only support SMB1 (for example, hp, kyocera - manufacturers don't care about security), and Samba in fresh Ubuntu disables SMB1 by default (because security doesn't care).
You can enable the old leaky version of the protocol in the /etc/samba/smb.conf file
[global]
; min protocol = SMB2
min protocol = NT1
