Well, you just need to know how to program, in general, the docks are all described about trading and you need to think of your own algorithms.
It's also an interesting topic for me. I have been studying trading since 2014, and started programming since the late 90s.
I started with the course "Financial Markets" from the Nobel Prize winner in economics Robert Shiller.
Then I read the book "Technical Analysis. Complete Course" by Jack Schwager.
Then he again began to delve into machine learning, neural networks.
He remembered mathematics, discrete, statistics, terver, etc.
I watched various lectures on fundamental analysis, machine learning, etc. on YouTube.
In parallel, he led the development of scripts, implemented various ideas in code and tested them on historical data.
Anyway, it seems to me that this knowledge will not be enough, there are too many pitfalls. We need practice and training for those who already work in the fund.
