What kind of strange glitches with the laptop?
The laptop freezes, and a frantic ripple appears on the screen, which can be accompanied by no less wild hiss, or maybe without it, silently. This can happen several times a day, or maybe once a month, somehow it happens randomly. In principle, you can see something on the screen, for example, the Start button, but the laptop does not respond to any actions, and this is treated only by a forced reboot.
To complete the picture, here is a video (an external monitor is connected to the laptop, and I shot it).
Overheating is hardly possible, the last time it happened was tonight, I left the laptop with running torrents and the cooling pad turned on for the night. And vice versa, this has never happened in games, usually when idle or working with office programs.
Notebook Asus k53sc.
OC Windows 7 Ultimate Sp1 x64.
What could be the problem?

Rejoice that it was a cable, the replacement is about 2000. But if this is a chip, then this is a resoldering of about 9000 rubles.
Most likely the video chip has gone, you need to do reballing or just try to warm up the chip
90% that this is a video chip, but I would also ask a friend for a RAM or drive my memtest
