What kind of content or type of blog/magazine is grid suitable for, what is a regular list, and what is masonry?

Maybe someone tested or just knows where you can read what is better and for what?

Tiles in any manifestation are a specific thing.
If every post is important, then it's not very convenient. If this is some kind of aggregator where you run through the headlines and choose interesting things, then you can.
Masonry is rather dumb - there is no system and it is very difficult to perceive textual information in this format. Suitable for pictures only.
