What kind of alarm to put in the car?
Good day. The question arose of the choice of signaling. Perhaps someone will advise something worthwhile. Based on the fact that all industrially manufactured alarms break down (time, of course, in the time spent and interest *), the following requirements are set:
- Cost (no more than $ 100).
- GSM/SMS alarm notification (such a 2-way. Ordinary alarms with two-way communication do not attract with their rather limited range) **
- GPS tracker [optional].
- Easy to install.
- Possible modes of operation: shout loudly; yell loudly and call the phone; just make a phone call; call the phone when the GPS coordinates change.
The pluses would also include the openness of the development itself and the firmware.
* Therefore, I didn’t get too confused by how good the signaling is. If critography is used - of course a big plus. But this is unlikely to be found in cheap solutions, despite the fact that it is easy to implement.
** Didn't know the range (alerts) of 2-way alarms, but I suspect that it is quite small.

Where is the original signal? In general, put iCode 07RS. I have one, I'm happy with it. It is easy to understand, plus a lot of all sorts of parameters. The main thing is not to forget to insure the car with OSAGO https://www.tinkoffinsurance.ru/osago/ , as unfortunately it happens that even the most reliable alarm system does not save.
