What Java book would you recommend for a Java Junior beginner?

What book would you recommend for JavaJunior beginners to read? The question is point-blank - Schildt - "Java for beginners" or just his full-fledged book with 1000+ pages? Or maybe some similar literature? Thank you for your attention

I started learning Java by "Java Philosophy" by Bruce Eckel . I did not experience any difficulties with understanding the material. You also need to understand that you won’t be able to limit yourself to a purely language, you will have to at least read Swing as well.

Eckel "Java Philosophy"
There are also good video tutorials from the Computer Science Center: they start with Hello World, end with network programming. The video tutorials are about Java 8.

Nothing superfluous, only technical literature. Everything you need is there.
