What is Too many child products in getProduct()?

Opened the project log - just a shaft of such errors. And without references to a script. I googled - I found only the source of the product.php file, which contains such a line. But there is a harmless check for the number of displayed products on the page. Increased from 10 to 20 - errors continue. Who faced - how to remove? They are not critical, but the log is hammered instantly.
