What is the voltage between two points?
Is it correct to understand that if it is written: the output voltage is 220 volts, this means that one pendant passing from point A to point B will do work equal to 220 J? If I misunderstood the definition, please correct me.

Voltage is a potential difference. Not to be confused with current.
Imagine several water towers of different heights. The pressure at the bottom will be different, this is a type of tension.
Several pipes of different diameters emerge from the towers. And the amount of water flowing in them is current.
The valve is closed - there is no current. And there is tension. You open the tap, the water moves - the current appears.
Only instead of water, electrons.
