What is the version control system for CAD designers?

There is a group of designers working on CAD AutoCad (2002, 2007, 2012), Lira, KOMPAS
It is required to organize project files, as well as control their versioning, the ability to roll back changes.
I think such software exists. Primary is open source software, free of charge whenever possible. Please tell me the name of the software, you can link.

If I understand the question correctly, you need Git. Here is a small tutorial on it. There is a Windows version with a bunch of GUI wrappers for it.
