What is the sequence of steps to implement a jQuery slider as a module for require.js?

Hello.
I would like to ask the experienced inhabitants of the toaster how to break this task into parts. What to read and in what order? Maybe there are some articles with good examples. The slider should be both with buttons and switches at the bottom, and with arrows on the sides.

Isn't it easier to take a ready-made slider, like bxslider ?
